Description:

ProArch is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team.
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Oracle databases.
The role involves managing and maintaining Oracle databases across multiple environments.
Candidates should have extensive experience working on large to very large databases and in 24/7 systems.
Responsibilities include migrating databases across servers and platforms, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database upgrades or shell scripting.
The DBA will perform installations, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration.
Daily administration and maintenance of Oracle customer production databases is required to ensure availability, performance, and safety.
Good backup and recovery skills are essential.
The DBA should stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
A strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture is required.
Experience in managing Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB is necessary.
Proficiency in Oracle 19c is essential.
Candidates should have experience with performance tuning, optimization, and patching.
Experience with Big File Table spaces is required.
Knowledge of any scripting language such as Shell, Python, or Bash is necessary.
Experience with backup and recovery operations is essential.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Familiarity with Golden Gate is considered an added advantage.
Candidates must be available for shift timings from 6 PM to 3 AM and be willing to work extended hours and weekends.
