Description:
- ProArch, a leading technology company, is looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team in Hyderabad.
- The Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases across multiple environments.
- Responsibilities include database performance, integrity, security, and working closely with other teams to ensure smooth database operations.
- Tasks involve database migrations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrades, backup and recovery, and staying updated with the latest Oracle technologies.
- The position requires working on large databases in 24/7 systems and ensuring the availability and proper functioning of production databases.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, architecture, and Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB.
- Proficiency in Oracle 19c, performance tuning, optimization, patching, and Big File Table spaces.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with backup and recovery operations, excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Golden Gate is an added advantage.
