Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Solutions Architect to join our client’s dynamic technical team on a full-time remote basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining global financial planning and accounting consolidation systems.
You will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial transformation by developing solutions that enhance planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.
Responsibilities include designing and developing complex business rules using both Calculation Manager and Groovy scripting to meet business requirements.
You will automate data administration tasks using Python, Groovy, CDM APIs, and EPM Automate.
The role involves supporting multiple Planning and Consolidation applications within the Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
You will create and deliver innovative reporting solutions, including narrative reporting, management dashboards, financial reports, and KPIs.
Optimizing and tuning the performance of Planning and Consolidation applications is also part of your responsibilities.
You will conduct system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and efficiency.
Collaboration with financial teams to translate business needs into technical solutions is essential.
You will prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design documents, test plans, training materials, and procedural guides.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning) design, development, and administration, including at least 3 years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS, FCCS).
An in-depth understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud and on-premises Hyperion architecture is required, with experience in hybrid applications and financial modules.
Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting is necessary, with a proven track record of writing complex code to optimize system functionality.
Experience in integrating Oracle EPM with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, NetSuite, and tools like Anaplan and Snowflake is essential.
Candidates should have expertise in financial reporting, including the creation of reports, charts, pivots, dashboards, books, and automated snapshot reports.
Advanced skills in automation using SQL, batch scripting, and EPMAutomate for data loads and integrations are required.
Experience with FDMEE/data management for automating data loads and managing integrations is necessary.
Strong knowledge of SQL development, including stored procedures (PL/SQL), triggers, and queries is required.
The ability to provide innovative solutions and proactively suggest best practices aligned with system functionality is essential.
A solid understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and key financial KPIs is required.
