Description:

Pair Team is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their mission of improving the well-being of underserved communities by connecting them to high-quality care.
The role involves making critical technical decisions across Pair Team’s products and infrastructure while leading project teams to develop new features.
The engineer will work closely with product leadership to drive technical direction and simplify services where possible.
This is a full stack role within a small, early-stage engineering team, and the position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include developing high-quality software, shipping incrementally at high velocity, leading small project teams, diagnosing issues in the codebase, and setting quality standards for the engineering team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years of project lead experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an early-stage VC/PE-backed startup is required.
Experience in both backend and frontend engineering is essential, including building complex web applications and relational databases data modeling.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend and ReactJS for frontend is preferred, along with familiarity with AWS services.
Strong communication skills to convey technical ideas clearly in both written and verbal forms are necessary.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required, as well as comfort in developing features for end users and core services.
A track record of influencing technology decisions and a passion for helping individuals with complex chronic needs are important.
An ownership mindset is essential to deliver experiences that meet customer goals in collaboration with product management, design, and data science.
