Description:
Paragon is seeking a strong developer to join their Infrastructure team as they scale to serve hundreds of APIs and integrations.
The role involves auditing and improving the CI/CD pipeline, maintaining sandbox and production infrastructure, and enhancing system reliability.
The company adopts an automation-first approach, utilizing TypeScript and Terraform for building pipelines and infrastructure with minimal UI interaction.
The entire application and infrastructure are version controlled and promoted through different environments before reaching production, allowing for rigorous quality assurance.
Responsibilities include building sandbox and production infrastructure, maintaining system monitoring and alerts, managing the CI/CD pipeline, improving internal development workflows, and providing ad-hoc DevOps support and maintenance.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working with Node.js, including building servers and scripting, and deploying to AWS cloud.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience working deeply with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker is required.
Experience in managing and working with CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Candidates must be confident working in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where they will be responsible for decisions that influence the company's direction.
