Remote Partner Solutions Engineer- Remote APAC

Description:

• Actian is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Partner Account Managers in selling integration, analytics, and data management solutions.
• The role involves providing pre-sales support, guiding Partner Proof-of-Concepts, and co-developing partner solutions through requirements analysis, architectural design, and implementation.
• Responsibilities include being a technical guide on Actian, creating and delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and maintaining a deep understanding of competitive technologies.
• The Partner SE will work on proof-of-concept projects, resolve customer-specific technical challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to improve products and marketing.
• Other duties include researching companies and prospects, becoming an expert in Actian products, providing proactive support to customers, and establishing positive customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales or post-sales technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, with expertise in the data analytics stack, integration, databases, data processing, and SQL analytics.
• Track record of success in selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers.
• Extensive knowledge of relational and large-scale analytics database technology, software development experience, and familiarity with BI and data exploration tools.
• Experience with database connectivity technology, large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms, data ingest pipelines, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, and non-relational platforms like Hadoop.
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS software.
