Jobgether is seeking a Perception Software Engineer for a remote position in the United States.
This role focuses on developing advanced machine learning and perception systems for real-world autonomous mobility.
The engineer will work within a multidisciplinary team to design and implement efficient, real-time, multimodal perception models for a next-generation transit solution.
Responsibilities include fusing camera, radar, and lidar data and optimizing model inference on embedded systems.
The contributions made in this role will directly influence safety-critical systems and transform urban mobility.
Key accountabilities include designing and implementing real-time onboard multimodal perception models, fine-tuning deep learning models for embedded hardware, developing custom CUDA kernels and TensorRT plugins, leading R&D efforts in multiview sensor fusion, managing complex datasets, and documenting findings for internal and external presentations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in machine learning, preferably in autonomous driving or automotive perception systems.
Proficiency in Python and/or modern C++ is essential, along with deep familiarity in PyTorch.
Experience with deep learning architectures, including transformer-based models, is necessary.
A strong understanding of perception systems, computer vision, and real-time inference is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Preferred qualifications include experience in optimizing model inference or developing custom CUDA kernels.
