Description:
Symplicity Brazil is seeking a Back-end PHP Developer to join our team and help continue developing our end-to-end solutions.
The position reports directly to the American team, requiring a sufficient level of English for initial communication.
The developer will participate in our English development program conducted by a full-time teacher.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining features in our software products.
The developer will follow best practices in software engineering and collaborate with team members using Agile methodologies.
The role involves researching and evaluating solutions to efficiently meet requirements.
Collaboration with UX teams, designers, and quality assurance to plan user interfaces is expected.
The developer will engage in live coding and develop features for web products using PHP technologies.
Database management will also be part of the responsibilities.
Requirements:
Experience in PHP technologies is required.
Knowledge of object-oriented design and software design patterns is necessary.
The candidate must be comfortable with the Unix/Linux command line.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as GIT, is essential.
Conversational English skills are needed for collaboration with our teams based in the USA.
A completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a software product company is advantageous.
Market experience in web development is preferred.
Prior experience in product development teams within an Agile environment is beneficial.
Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with SSH and VIM is desirable.
