Description:

Wishpond Technologies is seeking a PHP Developer to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a fully remote position, allowing the successful individual to work from anywhere in the world.
The PHP Developer will collaborate with the Development Department to ensure the products and services offered by Wishpond are effectively utilized by clients in Canada and the US.
Responsibilities include writing effective and scalable code using PHP and Javascript, building components for web applications, testing applications for performance, responsiveness, and security, reviewing and debugging code, integrating data storage and processing solutions, building and sharing libraries and plugins, creating automated test scripts, and maintaining applications post-deployment.
The role also involves coordinating with team members working on different layers of infrastructure and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience with PHP, specifically using Laravel.
At least 3 years of experience with Javascript and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS.
Solid database experience, preferably with MySQL.
A degree or diploma relevant to the role is considered an asset.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
Self-motivation and the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with a client-first mentality are essential.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment is required.
Candidates must be technical, analytical, and capable of managing complex projects seamlessly.
Strong organizational, administrative, time management, writing, phone, and communication skills are necessary.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training for the role is expected.
