Remote Platform Developer

Description:

• The Platform Developer position at Citizant involves utilizing rapid-prototyping techniques to develop prototypes for new data and analytics platforms.
• Responsibilities include developing and testing enterprise-level tools that interface with enterprise data repositories.
• The role also entails creating prototypes, pilots, and proofs of concept to support the testing of innovative solutions and initiatives.
• Additionally, the Platform Developer will support periodic data community events like data hack-a-thons.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is required.
• Experience with cloud computing services, developing cloud-native applications, containerization, and orchestration technologies is necessary.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, API design, and microservices architecture is essential.
• Proven experience developing code using rapid-prototyping techniques and implementing data security measures.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems including SQL and NoSQL databases is a must.
• Experience creating prototypes to test innovative solutions and supporting coding challenges and hack-a-thons is required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
