Remote Platform Engineer / SRE

• The Platform Engineer will assist clients with projects such as cloud migration, supporting software teams, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have experience building scalable and automated cloud platforms, preferably on AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in provisioning and supporting cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation is required.
• Experience working with external partners on scalable requirements and designs that are delivered on time is necessary.
• Familiarity with ELK, BeeHive, or similar monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Graphite) is expected.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools, preferably New Relic, is essential.
• Strong foundations in service observability and service design are required.
• A commitment to sustainable and secure practices is important.
• Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with provisioning tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, basic programming knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell), experience running performance and load tests, and knowledge of security practices (SAST) and secret management.
