Remote Platform Ops Engineer

Description:

• Madhive, a leading tech company in modern TV advertising, is seeking a Platform Ops Engineer to join their team.
• The successful candidate will work with a world-class team of cloud engineers to enhance the reliability and stability of services primarily in Google Cloud.
• Responsibilities include improving infrastructure as code practices, deploying services across different environments, and building a well-managed, cost-efficient cloud platform.
• The team focuses on building the best software, understanding the "why" behind tasks, learning new technologies, and investing in system health.
• Key tasks include creating CI/CD tooling, monitoring systems, optimizing cloud services, automating processes, implementing security best practices, and staying updated on cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, containerization, and cloud computing concepts, preferably on GCP.
• Experience with IaC, specifically terraform, and monitoring tools like Google Monitoring Suite, AppDynamics, Datadog, etc.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and experience in building large-scale platforms.
• Hands-on experience in system design, data pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and complex system architectures.
• Coding experience in Go, Bash (preferred), and familiarity with Python and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
