Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work experience is required.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering role.
Understanding of site reliability engineering principles and experience fostering a DevOps culture is essential.
Strong command of Terraform and experience implementing GitOps practices is necessary.
A thorough understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with other major cloud providers is advantageous.
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Kong API gateway, and building CI/CD pipelines is required.
Competence in utilizing observability tools such as Prometheus, Mimir, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo is needed.
Familiarity with data engineering tools like Apache Airflow and Apache Spark is beneficial.
Confidence in software engineering, particularly in Python and/or Go, is expected.
Experience in designing, maintaining, and operating microservice architectures is required.
A systematic problem-solving approach, effective communication skills, and a proactive demeanor are essential.
Candidates should be adept at collaborating within distributed teams and communicating asynchronously.
