StrongDM is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join their remote team in the United States.

Responsibilities include working with Infrastructure and Engineering teams on high leverage projects, optimizing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and improving tooling and local development experiences.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience developing and operating services in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
An expert command of Go, Rust, C, C++, or a similar programming language is required.
Strong familiarity with Docker is necessary for this position.
Experience with at least one of the following is required: AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
Candidates should have experience writing and maintaining CI/CD scripts and infrastructure.
Bonus points for candidates with experience supporting on-prem deployments of cloud products.

The compensation package ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 depending on experience, plus equity.
