Description:
Augmenta is seeking a Platform Tech Lead to join their remote team, which focuses on creating software for the construction industry that automates building design.
The role involves leading the backend development team, designing and implementing scalable and robust backend systems, and ensuring seamless integration of AWS services.
Key responsibilities include leading the backend team in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs, architecting scalable systems using AWS, managing Kubernetes clusters, and developing services using Golang.
The Platform Tech Lead will implement authorization mechanisms, design multi-tenancy solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure best practices in code quality, mentor junior developers, and monitor system performance.
The position reports to the VP of Engineering and requires staying updated with industry trends and AWS services.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have extensive experience in backend development, particularly with AWS services.
Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is necessary.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration is required.
A solid understanding of authorization mechanisms, multi-tenancy architecture, and database design (both SQL and NoSQL) is essential.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is required.
Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in Golang.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification is preferred.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards are also required.
