Description:
The POST Software Engineer at NBCUniversal will be responsible for the Dev QC process, CI/CD management, L3 support for Media Asset Management, reporting/dashboards, and overall L3 support for business-critical applications within POST Production Engineering.
Responsibilities include leading the QC process for the Automation team, running the CI/CD pipeline, developing automation solutions, building analytical reports and dashboards, and providing L3 support for NBCUniversal Cloud Post-Production and on-prem applications/systems.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in post-production and/or DevOps Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in Development QC Processes and asset management systems.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell.
Experience with Linux, Windows, Node, React, Python, and Ansible.
Background in source control management (SCM), preferably git.
Familiarity with the software build process and working in an agile/scrum environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with post-production tools.
Knowledge of cloud automation tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
Experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Quality, Metadata, ETL, and Data Warehouse methodologies.
Ability to work effectively remotely and strong interpersonal skills.
