Description:
NRI North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Power BI Business Analyst to join their team.
This position is responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI to support financial, sales, and operational decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate should have a deep technical understanding of Power BI and a strong business acumen, with experience in financial, sales, and operational data analysis.
Responsibilities include designing and developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models, analyzing business requirements, collaborating with IT and business teams, conducting data analysis, and developing technical documentation.
The analyst will translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement best practices for data modeling and visualization, and gather reporting requirements from stakeholders.
The role involves building reports around key metrics, validating report results, troubleshooting report refresh errors, and assisting with month-end financial processes.
Continuous improvement of processes related to report updates is also expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience in Power BI development and implementation is necessary.
The candidate must possess business acumen in finance, sales, and operations.
A strong understanding of Power BI features, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization, is essential.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment is necessary.
Experience with SQL and data integration technologies is required.
Familiarity with version control for managing and promoting changes is preferred.
