Description:
IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Power BI and Quality Control Engineer to support the VA-ESOM - End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States.
The role involves translating complex data into actionable insights using Power BI, with a focus on data modeling, DAX, and data transformation from multiple sources.
Responsibilities include creating visually engaging and interactive reports and dashboards, employing a user-centric design methodology, and ensuring accessibility for all users.
The engineer will develop solutions for real-time data to aid informed decision-making and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
The position requires collaboration with a team to meet stringent accessibility and security requirements while working independently to achieve successful results.
This position will be performed remotely, supporting Eastern Time working hours.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of relevant experience.
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders and have the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred qualifications include proven experience as a Power BI Engineer, proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and data transformation, and skills in creating interactive reports and dashboards.
Experience in data testing and quality control, an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C++, or C#), and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is preferred.
Prior experience with ServiceNow and the Department of Veterans Affairs is helpful, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
