Remote Power BI Developer

Description:

• The Power BI Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI for the company’s SaaS clients.
• This role involves working closely with business users and data engineers to understand data requirements, build effective data models, and deliver insightful, interactive dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.
• The Power BI Developer will transform raw data into actionable insights through elegant, scalable, and efficient visual representations.
• Key responsibilities include designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, creating custom data visualizations, building and maintaining data models, collaborating with data engineers, optimizing Power BI performance, providing end-user support, documenting solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement in BI strategy.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a related role, such as Business Intelligence Developer or Data Analyst.
• Expertise in Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data models, is essential.
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations and measures is required.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing is necessary.
• Understanding of ETL processes and the ability to integrate, cleanse, and transform data from various sources is important.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying databases is required.
• Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and convert them into meaningful data visualizations and reports are necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to gather requirements from business users and explain complex technical concepts in a non-technical way are essential.
• Candidates must be Philippine citizens currently living in the Philippines.
