Description:
The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful information while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
The developer will collaborate with various teams to understand their data requirements.
Staying up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices is essential to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.

The developer will build and optimize data models within the Power BI semantic layer to ensure performance and scalability.

Implementing data governance and security measures within Power BI is a critical responsibility.
The role includes administering Power BI workspaces and managing user access.
Utilizing the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem for data integration, transformation, and warehousing is expected.
Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues and data discrepancies will be part of the job.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer.
A deep understanding of data modeling concepts and semantic layer design is necessary.
Extensive experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX is required.
Strong skills in data transformation and cleansing using Power Query are essential.
Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake, is needed.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices is important.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
