Description:

The Power BI Developer will design, develop, and publish visually impactful Power BI dashboards and reports based on stakeholder requirements.
This role involves working closely with business teams to translate data into meaningful visual stories that drive decision-making.
The developer will build and optimize data models that support reporting performance and usability.
Writing efficient DAX formulas and SQL queries to manipulate, transform, and summarize data for reporting purposes is a key responsibility.
The developer must ensure that reports and dashboards are user-friendly, performance-optimized, and aligned with best practices in design and usability.
Implementing drill-down capabilities, tooltips, and filters to enhance interactivity is required.
The role includes maintaining and troubleshooting existing reports, making enhancements or fixes as needed.
Collaboration with data engineers or backend developers is necessary to ensure data integrity and proper data pipelines are in place.
The developer will maintain report versioning and documentation for future scalability.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of past dashboards and reports is required for submission.
Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateways is essential.
Advanced expertise in DAX and Power Query (M language) is required.
A solid understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries across multiple data sources is necessary.
A strong background in data modeling, including star/snowflake schemas, calculated tables, and measures, is required.
Experience with front-end dashboard design principles, including color, layout, and usability, is essential.
The candidate should have experience connecting to various data sources such as Excel, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, and SharePoint.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical users are necessary.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
