Description:
The Pre-Sales Solution Architect at Thunder will lead potential customers through pre-sales discovery calls and create proposals that foster successful partnerships.
This role requires applying technical aptitude and charisma to help customers love Salesforce.
The ideal candidate should have deep Salesforce experience and a seasoned eye for risk management.
Responsibilities include managing the prospective client once an opportunity is qualified, leading discovery calls, documenting use cases, generating estimates, and presenting proposals.
The architect will manage multiple customer meetings and estimates throughout the sales cycle, effectively communicating with internal and external teams while negotiating proposals.
The role also involves providing technical advisory during negotiations, identifying project risks, and suggesting potential mitigations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8-10+ years of implementation/delivery consulting experience within the Salesforce consulting partner ecosystem.
A minimum of 2-3+ years of experience serving as an Architect or designing solutions for customers ranging from SMB to Enterprise is required.
A successful track record as a project owner/Solution Architect for Salesforce implementations is essential, with significant understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Strong communication skills are necessary to engage with prospective stakeholders and internal teams, confidently leading presentations.
A keen eye for risk management during the sales negotiation process and the ability to recognize additional revenue opportunities with prospective customers is required.
Candidates should be proactive problem-solvers who can manage difficult conversations effectively.
