Remote Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

Description:

• Ditto is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to play a pivotal role in the sales cycle by understanding customer requirements and demonstrating how Ditto’s Edge Sync Platform can meet those needs.
• The role involves serving as a trusted technical advisor and working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to craft tailored demonstrations.
• Responsibilities include providing deep technical knowledge of Ditto’s platform, leading customer discovery sessions, designing solution architectures, and managing proof of concept (PoC) deployments.
• The engineer will create and deliver high-impact product demonstrations, collaborate on RFPs and RFIs, and engage with stakeholders to influence key decision-makers.
• The position requires collaboration with product and engineering teams to provide feedback based on customer needs and market trends, as well as assisting the sales team with technical insights.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role, preferably in the enterprise software space such as cloud, data infrastructure, or SaaS.
• A strong understanding of mobile development or cloud platforms, databases, and data analytics technologies is required.
• Proven ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to enterprise customers is essential.
• Experience in leading technical discussions and facilitating proof of concept (PoC) evaluations with customers is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt solutions to meet customer needs are required.
• Candidates must be able to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment is important.
• Technical proficiency in mobile, database, or data integration is preferred.
