Description:

  • The Principal AI/ML Architect will lead the design and implementation of AI and ML systems that enhance intelligent features across products and platforms at 3Pillar.
  • This role involves defining scalable, secure, and production-ready architectures utilizing classical ML, deep learning, and other AI technologies.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining current ML models in the cybersecurity space, defining end-to-end architecture for AI/ML systems, and implementing model testing strategies.
  • The architect will serve as a strategic technical advisor to clients, leading solution design discussions and representing 3Pillar in client-facing interactions.
  • The position requires architecting scalable solutions using cloud-native AI tools in AWS, managing VPN, and improving models' evolution and deployment strategies.
  • The architect will guide teams on MLOps frameworks, evaluate build-vs-buy decisions, and mentor technical teams while ensuring ethical AI practices.
  • Collaboration with leadership to align machine learning strategies with business objectives is essential, along with participation in software engineering activities.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 12+ years of industry experience in machine learning or data science is required; a Ph.D. is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of software product development and experience integrating AI/ML components into software products.
  • Experience working with large amounts of non-structured data and a strong grasp of AI architecture patterns are necessary.
  • Expertise in AWS SageMaker and deep experience with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, and TensorFlow are required.
  • Candidates should have experience designing enterprise AI systems with MLOps and familiarity with APIs, microservices, and containerization.
  • Knowledge of data governance, model risk management, and compliance is essential, along with extensive knowledge of machine learning theory and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with large datasets in a production environment is necessary.
