Description:
Zynga is seeking a Principal Application Security Engineer to work remotely in the US.
The role involves collaborating with cybersecurity leadership and product teams to conduct proactive security assessments and identify vulnerabilities in games, systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
The engineer will lead application security initiatives to enhance cybersecurity across gaming products and services.
Responsibilities include mentoring penetration testers, driving security engineering thought leadership, assessing the efficiency of application security measures, and coordinating efforts to ensure compliance with third-party requirements.
The position requires engaging in complex engineering discussions and demonstrating deep security expertise.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required; an advanced degree in science, engineering, or technology is preferred.
Candidates must have a strong background in application security engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Proven experience in application development, security assessments, and penetration testing is necessary.
Excellent leadership skills and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
Gaming security experience is a plus.
The ability to work independently and within a distributed team is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail, are necessary.
Candidates should be able to collaborate with teammates and customers to tackle ambiguous challenges.
