Remote Principal Architect/Product Definer

Description:

• The Principal Architect/Product Definer will be responsible for driving innovation and defining next-generation product roadmaps for the Low Power Core team.
• They will focus on delivering solutions addressing power efficiency and density challenges in Client computing and related applications.
• The role involves engaging cross-functionally with IC design, Applications, Marketing, and other engineering teams to bring ideas to fruition.
• The Principal Architect/Product Definer will need to have a deep understanding of system level challenges, VR system technologies, IC design techniques, power architectures, and trade-offs between priorities to define optimal new products.
• Responsibilities include interfacing with customer systems engineers, analyzing VR approaches, building collateral to support proposals, supporting customer engagements, and staying updated on industry innovations.

Requirements:

• Deep technical expertise in high-performance power management related to CPUs and high current ASICs is required.
• The candidate must possess broad technical capability/exposure along with excellent technical communication skills.
• A minimum of 15-20 years of relevant semiconductor and systems experience is necessary.
• An MS degree in engineering (EE – power electronics desired), with a PhD degree preferred.

Benefits:

• The expected annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $270,000, with eligibility for STI bonus opportunities and commission pay.
