Description:
The Principal Architect/Product Definer will be responsible for driving innovation and defining next-generation product roadmaps for the Low Power Core team.
They will focus on delivering solutions addressing power efficiency and density challenges in Client computing and related applications.
The role involves engaging cross-functionally with IC design, Applications, Marketing, and other engineering teams to bring ideas to fruition.
The Principal Architect/Product Definer will need to have a deep understanding of system level challenges, VR system technologies, IC design techniques, power architectures, and trade-offs between priorities to define optimal new products.
Responsibilities include interfacing with customer systems engineers, analyzing VR approaches, building collateral to support proposals, supporting customer engagements, and staying updated on industry innovations.
Requirements:
Deep technical expertise in high-performance power management related to CPUs and high current ASICs is required.
The candidate must possess broad technical capability/exposure along with excellent technical communication skills.
A minimum of 15-20 years of relevant semiconductor and systems experience is necessary.
An MS degree in engineering (EE – power electronics desired), with a PhD degree preferred.
Benefits:
The expected annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $270,000, with eligibility for STI bonus opportunities and commission pay.
