Remote Principal Backend Engineer (Node/TypeScript)

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript is essential.
• A background in Java, C#, or Go is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming techniques is necessary.
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging systems is required.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar databases (Redshift, ClickHouse), and NoSQL technologies (DynamoDB, MongoDB) is needed.
• Skills in developing and maintaining end-to-end and unit tests are required.
• A proven track record of developing production-ready solutions is essential.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale microservices architecture, familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), knowledge of Kubernetes, and understanding of application security and industry best practices.
