Description:

Accurate Background is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Cloud Architect to join their team.
The role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
Key responsibilities include leading cloud architecture design, developing infrastructure as code using Terraform, and implementing Kubernetes clusters using EKS.
The Principal Cloud Architect will also manage security practices, optimize performance, collaborate with teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in cloud solutions.
The position requires developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans and executing a multi-year strategy for the cloud environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, EKS, and CloudFormation is required.
Proven expertise in using Terraform for infrastructure as code is essential.
Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management is necessary.
A deep understanding of cloud security principles and practices is required.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to lead and mentor a team.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,200 to $241,899, with pay varying based on knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
The position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plans.
