Pure Storage is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Cloud Technical Specialist to join their dynamic Cloud Sales team.
The role involves understanding customers' unique challenges and tailoring Pure Storage solutions for Azure and AWS Clouds.
The Principal Cloud Technical Specialist will collaborate with Pure’s Cloud and Enterprise Sales Teams, Partners, and Microsoft and AWS teams.
Responsibilities include establishing oneself as a trusted technical advisor, designing cloud solutions, demonstrating technical leadership, and producing marketing materials.

Requirements:

A BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree, or equivalent experience is required.
Pre-sales technical experience with a focus on Azure and AWS Cloud in Enterprise accounts is necessary.
A deep understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of complex cloud-based solutions in Azure and AWS environments is essential.
Strong knowledge of digital transformation to a Cloud Native architecture, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers is required.
Familiarity with Azure and AWS solutions, services, and deployments is a must.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN) is needed.
Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments is required.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is necessary.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
A curiosity and passion for technology, along with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills, are essential.

The annual base salary range for this position is $189,000 to $302,000, with potential for incentive pay and/or equity.
