Description:
The Principal Data Annotation and Clinical AI Lead is responsible for managing data labeling and other projects, resolving clinical data interpretation disputes, and ensuring quality in AI model development.
This role involves overseeing teams and leading projects that include data labeling, subject matter expert (SME) evaluation of models, and other complex human-data intensive tasks to ensure timely and accurate results.
As the senior clinical adjudicator, the lead will drive alignment and resolve disputes among clinical subject matter experts regarding clinical data and results in AI modeling.
The position requires using extensive clinical expertise to provide critical insights and guidance to product and research staff to support model experience design and development.
Interaction with customers, research staff, product teams, and other stakeholders is essential to discover requirements and educate both technical and non-technical audiences about complex clinical aspects of AI solutions.
The lead will advocate for the quality and clinical accuracy of AI solutions by collaborating with technical teams, including senior model development researchers and product leaders.
Anticipating potential challenges in representing clinical concepts in AI models and overseeing solution creation is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A valid RN Degree and current license is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years in management roles, such as Director of Nursing or Operations Management, along with 12+ years of nursing experience.
Knowledge of healthcare informatics or equivalent technical skills/background is necessary.
A minimum of 3+ years of project management experience is required, including effectively managing teams and contract resources to deliver results on schedule.
Familiarity with using PointClickCare (PCC) products and data labeling tools is essential.
Demonstrated ability to quickly master new software, concepts, technologies, and systems is expected.
Candidates must show the ability to engage, effectively manage, and drive consensus among other SMEs of varying specialties and expertise levels.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions and levels with internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders are required.
Attention to detail and the ability to perform extensive data manipulation tasks on a computer for extended periods are necessary.
Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $148,500 to $165,000, with additional opportunities for bonuses or commissions and equity.
The total rewards package includes various components beyond base salary, which will be discussed during the hiring process.
