Description:

Sword Health is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to support its rapid growth by shaping the data strategy and ensuring growth initiatives are powered by deep insights, predictive models, and rigorous data analysis.
The role involves establishing a culture of evidence-based decision-making by providing actionable insights based on data analysis.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced predictive models such as churn prediction, lifetime value estimation, and user segmentation to forecast key metrics and identify growth levers.
The candidate will leverage advanced programming and process large datasets, collaborate on designing A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks, and work with various teams to align on growth strategies.
The position also requires building scalable solutions for tracking and analyzing data and developing reporting infrastructure and dashboards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Data Science roles.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R and strong SQL skills for querying databases are essential.
Experience with data manipulation libraries and working with marketing data is necessary, including integrating data from multiple channels to optimize marketing campaigns.
Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and interpreting A/B tests and other experiments is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights, are crucial.
Previous experience using descriptive and inferential statistics in a product context is needed.
Strong organizational skills for efficient data management and proficiency in spoken and written English are mandatory.
