Description:

  • Limitless is seeking a Principal Design Engineer to join their team and work on various projects, including organizing, visualizing, and crafting experiences with upcoming hardware devices like the pendant.
  • The role involves collaborating with the head of marketing to enhance the marketing website, design new web experiences, and iterate on brand aesthetics.
  • Responsibilities include refining product design for web and desktop apps, from onboarding to AI search flows.
  • The position requires a high level of agency, autonomy, and ownership, with the opportunity to define important tasks.
  • The Principal Design Engineer will be involved in product design, brand development, and front-end development, reporting to the co-founder.
  • The role entails designing and implementing end-to-end solutions by understanding customer needs and technical constraints with AI.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or product designer, with recent experience in products using LLMs being a plus.
  • Must have a portfolio showcasing excellent visual, UI, and interaction design for products, including websites, developed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant experience with front-end engineering using Next, React, and Tailwind, as well as product design tools like Figma.
  • Proficiency in animation frameworks, motion design, and shipping performant mobile responsive web products.
  • Nice to have: Experience with advanced frontend frameworks and technologies like ThreeJS/R3F, WebGL, and shaders.
