As a Principal DevOps Engineer, responsibilities include architecting and building core platform components across multiple clouds, driving design and implementation of a custom Python- and Cloud-based deployment platform, sustaining operations of third-party components, managing deployment cadence, and promoting best practices within the team and organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of development experience, including architecture and design of complex systems.
Deep cloud experience is required, with AWS preferred.
A solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking is necessary.
Experience implementing a CI/CD system using platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Travis is essential.
Knowledge of containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
Candidates should have a fluent command of tools such as Bash, Python, or Terraform.
Knowledge of best practices for designing and building efficient, maintainable, testable, and portable applications is important.
A keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
