Description:
- The Principal DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing scalable and resilient systems for Agiloft CloudOps, following DevOps and security best practices.
- They will collaborate cross-functionally, lead DevOps initiatives, and provide expertise to achieve departmental goals.
- This role may involve assuming a team lead position for projects, advising on technical issues, and conducting POCs for new system designs.
- Reporting to the VP of Cloud and Hosted Operations, the engineer will work closely with the Cloud Ops team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in scaling SaaS platforms with thousands of simultaneous users.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud/ProductionOps, or System Engineering.
- Proficiency in DevOps principles, practices, and technologies like AWS, Terraform, and Linux.
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring tools, scripting languages, networking, CI/CD tools, containerization, and cloud platforms.
- Expertise in data replication, disaster recovery, incident response, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
