Description:

  • The Principal DevOps Engineer at Blink Health will lead and take ownership of systems and processes within the organization.
  • Responsibilities include setting priorities, influencing decision-making on core cloud infrastructure and systems, and enhancing platform security, resilience, and performance.
  • The role involves improving observability and reliability of systems, identifying workflow and tool enhancements, and providing mentorship and architecture recommendations.
  • Success in this position requires improving developer experience, maintaining a security-focused approach, collaborating with various teams, simplifying existing systems, and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Desired experience includes a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with 8+ years of experience in troubleshooting, cloud platforms, disciplined coding in an agile environment, CI/CD services, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization/container orchestration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in methodical troubleshooting, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), disciplined coding in an agile environment, CI/CD services, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization/container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, ReactJS.
  • Experience with managed services offered by cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD services like GitHub Actions, Poetry, Helm, and Serverless Framework.
  • Ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
  • Deep understanding of containerization and container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of concepts like service meshes, dynamic configuration, container scanning, and secrets management.
