Remote Principal DevSecOps - Contract

Description:

• As a Principal DevSecOps, you will enhance the security, reliability, and scalability of client cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• You will focus on AWS native solutions to architect, implement, and refine cutting-edge DevOps and security practices.
• Your role will ensure the creation of secure and efficient environments that can scale seamlessly.
• Responsibilities include architecting and deploying AWS resources using CloudFormation, designing and optimizing secure CI/CD pipelines, performing threat modeling, assessing and patching vulnerabilities, implementing automated monitoring systems, and advocating for improvements in security practices.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with AWS CloudFormation.
• Deep proficiency with AWS native DevOps tools for CI/CD automation, including CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Experience in creating and managing AMIs and containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong background in AWS observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
• Solid experience managing AWS resources with a deep understanding of AWS security best practices.
• Scripting experience in languages such as Bash or Python for task automation.
• Knowledge of AWS's Well-Architected principles is required.
• Nice to have certifications include DevOps Engineer: Professional, Solutions Architect: Professional or Associate, and Developer: Associate.
