Description:
Arcadia is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their R&D team and work on a high-scale distributed computing platform that processes billions of clinical and financial observations for over 100 million patients daily.
The Principal Engineer will be part of a small elite product group responsible for rapid greenfield innovation, designing and building prototypes of novel products powered by massive datasets and generative AI.
Success in this role involves quickly getting up to speed on core technologies, leading the design and development of new product modules, incorporating market feedback, and providing mentorship to the broader engineering team.
The Principal Engineer will collaborate with senior leadership, architects, and the VP of Product to launch new products, scale innovations, and contribute to the long-term vision of the technology stack.
Requirements:
10 years of software expertise in designing, creating, and operating software across various languages and technologies like Spring, NestJS, and React.
Experience operating software systems in the cloud, particularly with AWS services like ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS, CloudFront, and Lambda.
Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases, staying updated on technological advancements, and strong written communication skills.
Familiarity with leading LLMs, healthcare industry experience, leadership and mentorship skills, infrastructure as code technologies like Terraform, CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.
