Remote Principal Engineer, Foundation

Description:

• The Principal Engineer, Foundation position at LTK involves leading engineering and operational excellence initiatives for scaling services within the LTK Foundation and Platform Engineering team.
• Responsibilities include working on automation, configuration management, monitoring, enterprise infrastructure administration, identity management, and event orchestration.
• The role requires collaborating with software development teams to ensure maximum uptime, scalability, and timely delivery of features.
• As a Principal Engineer, you will impact the organization by creatively solving problems, serving as a technical expert in performance, scalability, system architecture, and engineering best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers, leading technical initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage projects from conception to completion, effectively managing timelines, resources, and priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, tools, and methodologies, and sharing knowledge with peers.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts, collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, and provide guidance on technical decisions.
• More than 8 years of experience demonstrating a deep understanding of distributed systems, software development principles, architecture, and best practices.
• Experience in Platform Engineering with technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GPC, or Azure), Workflow Engine, and Auth0.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Golang, Kubernetes, GitOps, Trunk Based Development, CI/CD, and platform technologies.
