Description:
The Principal Engineer - Full Stack will be a key member of the leadership team of the Engagement Camp at Culture Amp.
The role involves working on the flagship Engagement product to help companies understand their employees and drive meaningful change in workplace culture.
The position requires driving technical excellence in line with Culture Amp’s Tech Vision and supporting the evolution and execution of a product and technical strategy for the camp.
The Principal Engineer will mentor team leads, tech leads, staff engineers, and other engineers in the camp to drive sustainable technical excellence.
The role includes ensuring clear communication within and across all camps, facilitating knowledge-sharing, and aligning large initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have significant experience working on complex systems, strong front-end architecture experience, and proficiency in technologies like Typescript and React.
They should possess excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, be able to navigate complexity and ambiguity, and excel in coaching and teaching others.
The Principal Engineer should be a proactive individual who can effectively communicate plans, make timely decisions, and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Requirements:
Significant experience working as an engineer on complex systems.
Strong front-end architecture experience and hands-on experience with technologies like Typescript and React.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to navigate complexity, change, and ambiguity.
Strong communication skills to share plans and reasoning effectively.
Natural coaching and teaching abilities.
Proactive and driven to get things done efficiently.
