Remote Principal Engineer (Next.JS)

Description:

• The Principal Engineer will be responsible for architecting and designing web applications using React and Next.js.
• They will need to have a strong understanding of web development fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with micro frontend architecture and RESTful APIs is preferred.
• The role involves mapping decisions with requirements, defining guidelines for NFR considerations, and reviewing architecture and design aspects.
• The Principal Engineer will also be responsible for developing and designing solutions for functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements:

• Must have 13+ years of experience in web development.
• Proven experience in architecting and designing web applications using React and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with micro frontend architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in an architect role or similar senior-level position.
