Remote Principal Engineer, Web

Description:

• LTK is seeking a Principal Engineer, Web to empower premium lifestyle creators and drive innovation in the industry.
• The role is remote and involves building industry-leading web and mobile experiences for millions of customers and creators.
• The Principal Engineer will have an organizational impact across LTK’s web presence, including LTK Consumer Web, LTK Creator Web, LTK Brand Portal, Agency Portal, and Marketing site.
• Responsibilities include setting the technical direction and strategy for web platforms, ensuring technology meets business requirements, and developing partnerships with product teams.
• The engineer will champion large-scale initiatives to improve the web platform and act as a customer representative for web engineers.
• The position requires mentoring fellow engineers and ensuring solid technical plans are in place for projects.
• The engineer will serve as the technical point of contact for decisions impacting the web platform and cross-functional partners.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10+ years of software development experience in web development.
• Experience in architecting and designing highly available, fault-tolerant transaction processing systems is required.
• Strong leadership experience is necessary, including leading meetings and serving as a technical go-to person.
• A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate adaptability to a dynamic environment and possess a growth mindset.
• A deep understanding of the web and network stack, with experience in optimizing applications, is required.
• Experience in monitoring and improving performance of customer and web experiences is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience integrating 3rd party APIs and developing/deploying AWS tools and systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences are required.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
