Description:
Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems using React, Redux, Next.js, Node, and NGINX
Refine technologies and development practices for the product
Provide technical leadership for an agile scrum team
Collaborate with product and design teams to meet technical, product, and design requirements
Work with the backend team to define APIs and services supporting client applications
Collaborate with mobile engineering for a cross-platform experience
Ensure security and performance of React and Next.js web applications
Drive initiatives to improve standard web metrics
Ship frequently in 2-week sprints
Guide the implementation and maintenance of components in the internal library
Mentor and support front-end developers
Contribute to code review meetings, technical documentation, and PR reviews
Prioritize a culture of improvement
Requirements:
10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in a front-end role using React and micro front-ends
Experience optimizing front-end for SEO
Knowledge of web caching strategies and CDN usage
Familiarity with experimentation like A/B testing
Ability to thrive in an open and collaborative environment
Strong sharing ethos, writing modular and extensible code, and mentoring peers
Track record of end-to-end project responsibility
Desire to impact the experience of Peerspace hosts and guests worldwide
