Remote Principal Frontend Engineer

Description:

• Feeld is seeking a Principal Engineer (Mobile/Frontend) to join their remote team and contribute to building an inclusive, human-centered product.
• The role involves managing complex systems, focusing on developing scalable React Native applications, exploring new technologies, providing mentorship, and leading strategic technical decisions.
• The Principal Engineer will be responsible for applying the latest innovations in mobile technology to the dating space and setting industry standards for innovation.
• Responsibilities include fostering a culture of continuous improvement, analyzing root causes of problems, maintaining an active relationship with Product, and driving solution planning with the team.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in mobile development, with leadership experience in React Native and a deep understanding of mobile application development.
• Experience in building at scale and leading teams through challenging technical problems and high-impact projects.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adaptable, and resourceful.
• Proficiency in both IOS and Android development, with the ability to lead initiatives in both platforms.
• Strong communication skills, experience in frameworks for building solutions, and a track record of shipping industry-leading products.
