The company is seeking a dedicated Principal Frontend Engineer to join their team and help shape the future of knowledge.
The Principal Frontend Engineer will be responsible for building the Circuit web app, taking wireframes and direction from design and product teams to create beautiful, accessible, and responsive experiences for customers.
Key responsibilities include the architecture and implementation of Circuit’s web app, testing and QA through to production for owned features, and managing individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with front-end development.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Next.js is required, with a preference for experience with App router and Server Actions.
Strong experience with Typescript, React, HTML, and CSS is necessary.
Experience with Linux, Git, SSH, Containers, and Docker is required.
Direct experience writing end-to-end, integration, and unit tests using Playwright, Jest, and RTL is essential.
Candidates should have experience with responsiveness and accessibility, as well as a good understanding of best practices for UX.
A strong sense of aesthetics is also required.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
