Description:
Sayari is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to help build their platform focused on corporate transparency, anti-money laundering, sanctions evasion, and combating financial fraud.
The ideal candidate should be a process-oriented self-starter with extensive software engineering experience and a passion for open source development and innovative technology.
The Principal Full Stack Engineer will lead the implementation of one of the application team squads, overseeing deliverables, architecting solutions, and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
This role involves close collaboration with the product team to ensure alignment with the product's roadmap.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada, as sponsorship is not available.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of industry experience in software development, including experience as both an individual contributor and in managing or mentoring other developers.
Strong expertise in Typescript and/or Javascript is required.
Experience with backend web development and architecting REST APIs is necessary.
A deep understanding and proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and/or Cypher-based graph databases, is essential.
Experience managing software in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is required.
Candidates should have experience conducting code reviews and unit testing.

Sayari offers a target base salary of $175,000-$200,000 plus bonus and equity in the US, with final offer amounts determined by various factors.
