Description:
Second Dinner is an award-winning independent game development studio focused on creating the most fun games in the world, including the acclaimed game MARVEL SNAP.
The studio operates remotely, with most team members located across the United States, promoting a diverse team to enhance creativity and game development.
The Design team collaborates with various departments to create engaging player experiences and drives the design of both live in-game experiences and upcoming features.
As a Principal Game Designer, Content Design, you will be responsible for designing new cards and locations, balancing existing cards, managing gameplay rules, and mentoring other designers.
You will work closely with project leadership and cross-discipline teams to ensure the game's success.
Requirements:
You must have experience working on card games and live service games.
You should have a proven track record of owning game design verticals on shipped titles.
A deep understanding of player types, behaviors, and motivations is essential.
Experience in managing player sentiment through live operations is required.
You should have experience leading designers and design teams.
Nice to have but not necessary: experience working on mobile games, programming experience, and familiarity with Unity.
