Remote Principal GCP Infrastructure Performance Engineer (with french)

Description:

• The Ticketing Co. is seeking a Principal GCP Infrastructure Performance Engineer proficient in both English and French to join their team.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining resilient systems that power innovative solutions.
• The role involves overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management, and ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
• Responsibilities also include maintaining and monitoring website uptime, implementing robust security measures, and continuously improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, expertise in server infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform), proficiency in PostgreSQL, fluency in Node.js, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.
• Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.

Requirements:

• Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
• 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
• Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, but experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is also acceptable.
• Deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize and understand the intricate details and underlying layers.
• Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript.
• Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a preference for knowledge of Pulumi.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
