Wellth is a fast-growing digital health startup headquartered in Los Angeles, focused on providing daily care motivation to individuals with chronic conditions.
The Principal Healthcare Informatics Data Analyst will work closely with customer success and sales teams to conduct custom analyses on healthcare data, including claims, EMR, labs, and quality outcomes.
This role requires at least a decade of experience with healthcare datasets and conducting analyses related to health outcomes, ROI, and utilization.
The analyst will be responsible for translating healthcare data into actionable insights and will guide the data team in structuring healthcare data received from customers.
The position involves developing new analyses to support commercial team goals and creating external-facing collateral to showcase Wellth’s outcomes.
The analyst will present analyses to customers and participate in pitches and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Success in this role includes elevating the organization’s thinking on healthcare data, conducting analyses that lead to customer expansions, and supporting data engineering efforts.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience working with healthcare products and data, specifically with claims data and patient data.
A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience as a healthcare data analyst or healthcare data engineer in a client-facing role is required.
Strong communication skills are essential to translate complex data into understandable narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ability to provide strategic insights and identify new ways to leverage data to meet customer objectives is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, shell scripting, and dbt tools for analysis, ETL, and data transformation is required.
Familiarity with data warehouse infrastructures such as Redshift and BigQuery is needed.
A deep understanding of healthcare quality metrics, CMS requirements, ROI analyses, and financial modeling is essential.

The base compensation for this position ranges from $165,000 to $185,000, with an additional 10% variable compensation based on company performance.
Equity options are available as part of the compensation package.
