Remote Principal Java Engineer

Description:

• Develop scalable and innovative robust Java code for content aggregation, information indexing, retrieval, processing, and ranking.
• Build, enhance, optimize, and deploy tools, workflows, systems for processing textual data.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and project goals.
• Write detailed design documents, develop comprehensive automated tests, and coordinate automated deployments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field of study; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years developing applications in core Java.
• In-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English.
• Operability experience in logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging.
• Prefer experience with Cassandra or Spanner, containerization knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker), and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like terraform, CI/CD, and build tools (maven/gradle).
