Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Architect to lead the design, implementation, and continual evolution of large-scale, production-grade ML systems.
This role requires a technical leader who will take an active role in defining and leading our teams towards our vision, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of AI and ML engineering while continuing to deliver real, measurable value to our customers.
You will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, product, and leadership teams to align our ML architecture with business goals and emerging industry best practices.
Key responsibilities include designing and building large-scale ML systems, ensuring systems meet strict performance, latency, and reliability requirements, and evaluating and incorporating cutting-edge ML trends and technologies.
You will create interfaces that enable collaboration across teams, establish best practices for maintaining consistent ML model performance, and develop monitoring systems to ensure model quality over time.
The role involves leading large-scale initiatives, providing mentorship to engineers, and developing a deep understanding of business and customer KPIs.
You will represent the innovation of our data science and ML in the industry.
Requirements:
Proven experience building large-scale ML systems in production environments is required.
Familiarity with tools like Flink, Spark, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks is essential.
Proficiency in Python, as well as Java, C++, or similar languages is necessary.
Knowledge of industry best practices for deploying, maintaining, and scaling ML systems in production is required.
Experience in high-impact areas such as ad-tech, recommendation systems, personalization, search ranking, or gaming is preferred.
A strong understanding of modern ML engineering trends and challenges, including model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies is necessary.
Knowledge of GenAI, including LLMs, and the trends and challenges of building GenAI applications is preferred.
Ability to align and lead cross-functional teams on large-scale architectural initiatives is required.
Demonstrated success in working with diverse stakeholders and fostering alignment around technical and business objectives is necessary.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with curiosity about the business impact of technical decisions, are essential.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate architectural vision and influence stakeholders at all levels are required.
